Effects of Hip Abductor Strengthening on Musculoskeletal Loading in Hip Dysplasia Patients after Total Hip Replacement

چکیده

Hip dysplasia patients after total hip replacement show worse functional performance compared to primary osteoarthritis patients, and unfortunately there is no research on muscle joint loads that would help understand rehabilitation effects, motor dysfunctions failure events. We tested the hypothesis a higher improvement in who received abductor strengthening replacement, result different gait function musculoskeletal during walking performed standard only. In vivo analysis modeling were used analyze differences parameters forces between two groups of patients. found that, scenario very mild abnormalities, expressed more physiological force pattern generally greater operated limb, although statistically significant limited portions cycle, likely related speed. conclude low-demand task, program does not have marked effect loads, further studies clarify loads.

Comparing the Quality of Life Before and After Total Hip Arthroplasty Operation in Patients With Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip

Purpose: Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) increases the risk of secondary degenerative changes and subsequent total hip arthroplasty. The postoperative quality of life in patients with DDH who have been born and grown with this disability and adapted to it during the life, is one of the most challenging issues. This study aimed to compare the quality of life of patients with DDH before ...
